The Project Scope
M.R. Al-Khathlan needed fast, accurate, shaft alignment on 19 cold water pumps in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. High accuracy and repeatable results were a primary concern of their end user; Saudi Aramco. They decided that an outside contractor was the best solution to satisfy meet their requirements.

ACQUIP was brought in to perform the alignment readings and direct the work crew during alignment corrections. ACQUIP helped guide M.R. Al-Khathlan through the alignment process that was needed by their end client. ACQUIP was able to continue the alignments during a dust storm and direct the work crew to complete the alignments correctly prior to inspection.
results
After a thorough inspection by the Saudi Aramco Client, all shaft alignment results were completed to the satisfaction of the client and end user. The cold water pumps could then be successfully tested and which proved to be a lasting reliable service.
