According to Damian Josefsberg, ACQUIP, CEO, “Waiting for customer’s laser alignment services needs from Latin American companies to come to us was not an option… we had to not only reach out to them but also provide them with a complete array of laser alignment services for equipment maintenance.” Along with their Spanish website launch, ACQUIP, is about to roll out a new blog in Spanish with industry-related posts and will develop and distribute a monthly newsletter containing news and updates relevant to the region starting June 2010.

ACQUIP, recently had two overseas ventures in Mexico. Using laser and optical instrumentation, ACQUIP, engineers have participated in numerous laser alignment projects on an extremely wide range of equipment including steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, and rotating equipment of all types. This vision of offering Latin American customer’s rapid, turnkey service to their plants along with having a regional presence was partially inspired by existing and prospective customers. Presently, ACQUIP, management, in consultation with Hispanic Market Advisors, is executing a regional strategy that is allowing purchasing agents, mechanical engineers, and rotating equipment engineers in the power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical and marine industries to provide expert laser alignment services for both emergency maintenance needs and planed projects.
